The central location was perfect, and the staff were friendly enough. The apartment had the basics and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Still, I wouldn’t go out of my way to book here again, though I’d be comfortable staying if I had to. The rooms are dated and need maintenance or renovation. The spa bath didn’t work. Staff said they couldn’t do anything because the room wasn’t advertised as having a spa, but to me the broken bath shows the need for improvements. The in-room laundry made the apartment humid, and the exhaust fan didn’t seem to work well. The sheets didn’t fit properly and left the top of the mattress exposed. The bedroom TV was awkwardly placed, though we didn’t use it, so that wasn’t an issue for us. Basement parking was extremely tight, barely suitable for anything larger than a sedan.

Staff were friendly and cooperative, and the location is a prime spot in the middle of the city if you want to explore on foot. The rooms were clean and all facilities were provided, but the space was very tight because so much had been fitted into a small room. The shower didn’t work as it should, either. On hot days, the hall air conditioner didn’t cool the bedroom properly. There was no Smart TV for watching Netflix if you wanted to stay in. On-site parking was kind of expensive and adds up over a couple of days, though the location itself is really good.

Reception was kind and the location was good. We had a nice stay in a large two-bedroom apartment. The rooms were very dated, but clean, well kept and functional.

There was no recycling in the rooms, and the apartments still use small toiletry containers that seem destined for landfill. Most places now have refillable wall-mounted dispensers. It’s disappointing to see so little attention to environmental considerations. The apartment was close to the centre of Adelaide City, which was great, though noise from local hotels can be an issue. There was a microwave/convection oven but no suitable dishes for using it. The fridge/freezer was a good size, but we had only a soft “chux” to clean dishes with and had to ask for a dish towel.
