They refuse to refund the unused nights and stick to their no refund policy, even though basic standards weren't met. I paid for a week but left after one night because everything was filthy. Easily the worst hostel I've stayed in. The bathrooms I could use weren't acceptable, and there wasn't even soap. Several bathrooms were closed. In the kitchen, the sink was out of order, and the fridges were broken and full of rotten food. The rooms and kitchen smelled terrible, and basic facilities weren't maintained properly. There was no proper staff presence on site, and the place felt neglected and badly managed. Hygiene was far below what any accommodation should provide.

We left as soon as we saw the room and didn't stay, but they still charged us a security deposit. The property was dirty and felt unsafe, the wifi and fridge didn't work, and it seemed completely unsuitable for young travellers. Avoid at all costs.

The location in Port Adelaide is the worst place to be. The rooms, toilets, and showers are dirty. There was nobody at reception, just someone working from home on a TV. I tried calling many times, but the hostel didn't answer.

This is the worst place we've ever stayed, even though we're very used to motels and YHA type hostels. For $110AUS/£53, about what we've paid elsewhere, we've had much better places. Honestly, it feels like a homeless hostel, and a bad one. Vulnerable citizens shouldn't have to live like this. Don't stay here. The room was disgusting and smelled of sweaty feet. The heating didn't work, the TV aerial was battered and barely worked, and the plastic curtains didn't close. The fridge wasn't plugged in and stank, so don't open it. We went straight out to buy air freshener. Check in was unusual, done on a TV screen with a remote worker. They were very efficient and friendly. But the open check in area was dark, smelled, and felt completely depressing. The shared toilet and shower looked unusable.

Don't stay at this hostel unless you have nowhere to live. There's nobody at reception, the quality is really, really low, and it has no backpacker vibe or anything cool about it. Just don't.
