Prickly Pear Stays in Plympton

Plympton worked really well for our weekend, with the beach and city close by and the airport easy to get to. My girlfriend and I found the parking simple, and the place had everything I needed. The pricing felt fair, and the hosts clearly have their short-stay operation running smoothly. We were happy with the stay.

The fast Wi-Fi and Smart TV were a real plus, especially being able to stream, and there were also washing machines and dryers. The unit was neat, just as described, and had what I needed. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Thanks, I’ll be back on my next work trip.

The location suited me well because it was close to family, and I’d stay again. The unit was comfortable and covered most of what I needed, though cleaning could have been more thorough. The pot cupboard was dirty, so I wiped the shelves myself, and there was a lot of dust under the bed. On the third day a couple of sluggish cockroaches came out of the cupboards; a bit of spray dealt with them. My biggest issue was the Wi-Fi. A decent signal was only available intermittently in one corner of the kitchen, and it wasn’t reliable.

The bed was comfortable, the host was nice, and there were plenty of utensils for cooking. Good spot.
