The living room had two worn-out settees and a big white table, and there weren't any drawers in the bedroom, just a rail to hang clothes on. We stayed in flat 3, tucked under the stairs, and had to keep the living room lights on the whole time we were there. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Avoid it like the plague.

The location was good, but that was the only positive. The bathroom sink was blocked, paint was peeling, the shower screen had mould, and there was no soap. The living room floor was stained and dirty on our first night. After five nights there for work, I found a pair of women's underwear at the bottom of the sheets on our last morning. The bottom sheet had looked badly made from the start, and it turned out it hadn't been properly changed. Don't stay here.

The price was hard to beat, and the balcony looks straight out over the beach. We were two couples and all slept well. It's not the fanciest place, but there was nothing we couldn't put up with.

Absolutely putrid. We had to find somewhere else to stay in an emergency. There were bugs falling from the bathroom exhaust fan, and hair and bugs in the bed, with blood on the sheets. Pigeon droppings were at the building entrance, on the windows, and in the laundry. The couch was broken and bathroom fittings were coming off the wall. I reported it to the ombudsmen.

Unit 6 was a nice place in a great location, despite the old building. It was neat, tidy, and spacious, with a great kitchen and a big bathroom and bedroom. A few things needed attention: there were no fly screens on the windows, the bathroom exhaust fan had no cover, and the toilet roll holder was coming off the wall.
