The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with excellent beds and recently renovated bathrooms. It’s in a quiet spot but still close to the city, plenty of good restaurants and pubs, and the free city bus is about a five-minute walk away. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rates are reasonable for such a comfortable stay, and we’ll definitely come back.

Getting in was simple: the codes were clear, and we found our room without needing directions from anyone at reception. The place was clean, quiet and nicely decorated, and North Adelaide has plenty of nearby breakfast options. I loved staying here.

The location is great, and the room was pleasant and good value. They send the entry codes by text with clear instructions on finding the room, so arriving after hours was no problem. It also avoids the hassle of magnetic cards that can stop working or get lost. I’d choose this place again.

I’ve stayed here twice, and both rooms were clean and pleasant. There’s WiFi, laundry and drying facilities, and the room has what you need for a night or two away. Cafes, restaurants and public transport are all easy to reach from here. I’d definitely return when I need to stay away from home.

After staying at the O'Connell Inn for years because of its location, price and good housekeeping, we’ve decided this was our last visit. We spent three nights there and the room was serviced only once. The water from every tap was barely tepid, and the tea and coffee weren’t replenished. We usually don’t bother writing reviews, but the housekeeping has fallen well below par under the new owners, for whatever reason. I’ll be emailing M & G Hotel Group, Quality Inn.
