We’re proud to be the first to leave a Google review for the Jewel of the Barossa, and it earns five stars from us. The restored Californian bungalow sleeps up to six and has lovely features like a four poster bed, deluxe spa and log fires. Its spot in the heart of Tanunda also puts guests within walking distance of Barossa restaurants such as 1918 and Ferment Asian. A precious jewel indeed.

We’ve come back several times and would gladly stay again with friends. The house is spacious and full of character, and the kitchen is lovely and well equipped. Breakfast supplies are generous, with nice extras like wine and chocolates. Tanunda’s main shops, including a great bakery, are close by, making it a good base for exploring the Barossa. Highly recommended.
