The Mid Pacific

Right on the water at Port Macquarie, with spotless rooms, very friendly staff and strong shower pressure. There's an old-school information book in the room, packed with useful details. This was one of the nicest little hotels we've stayed in, much better than some places we've paid far more for and got less. Exceptional value. Don't miss it if you're looking for somewhere in Port. Couldn't recommend it more.

The lovely man at reception had a jolly vibe and made things fantastic from the start. The place was clean and spacious, with a great pool area, an elite indoor hot tub and a prime location. I'll definitely stay again on my next Port Mac visit.

For New Year's Eve we booked a waterview suite to watch the fireworks. I'd never stayed here before and was surprised by how much I liked the whole motel. The beds and pillows were comfortable, there was plenty of room for clothes and suitcases, and the wrap-around verandah opened onto the waterfront. Restaurants and cafes were close by. The pool and two spas were great, there were ample lounges, and everything was very clean. The staff were lovely. Couldn't fault a thing, and we'll definitely be back.

The location is very central, and the beach is within walking distance. We haven't used the pool, but it looks very clean, and there's a spa as well. We've stayed at the Mid Pacific Motel for many years and never had an uncomfortable experience. Staff are always friendly and accommodate our needs, and the rooms, lift and stairs are very clean.
