A really lovely backpacker hostel, with a warm atmosphere that makes it easy to share time with people. Ben, the owner, is a great guy and brings a good vibe that you can feel throughout the place. Port Macquarie is a nice location, and there's room to do a bit of work, good parking, and plenty of places to relax indoors and outside. The morning pancakes are a big plus. Thanks for the stay!

I loved staying here. The hostel has a really open atmosphere, and everything is much cleaner than in lots of hotels, not just hostels. The boss is kind, likes to joke around, and is happy to help if you have questions.

My girlfriend and I booked a private room for the weekend and had an amazing time. The hostel was clean and well maintained, and everyone was friendly and sociable. We'll stay here next time we're back in Port Macquarie. Thanks!

I'd never written a review before, but I really recommend PMB. I was nervous about staying here because I'm new to travelling, and my last independent hostel hadn't been very nice. PMB completely changed my assumptions. I stayed three nights, made amazing friends, and wished I'd booked longer. The people are friendly, especially the staff, and it feels like everyone is family. The mattresses were so comfortable, and the free pancakes each morning were delicious. Come here if you want to make genuine connections. There's something special about this place that I haven't experienced anywhere else.

I was greeted by the owner, who had lots of suggestions for things to do in Port, and the coach stop is only a short walk away. The facilities were very clean and the rooms a good size. On my first night there was a pizza night; the second night I watched a movie with other hostel residents, then joined the group for a beach picnic the next day. A stay to remember. This is what hostel life is all about ❤️
