Royal Arms Hotel

I had to leave because the place was unlivable. The bathrooms were disgusting and unhygienic, there was a terrible smell, and the bedspread looked as if it had never been washed. Black mould covered the ceiling. Absolutely horrible, I’d give it no stars if I could. I’m surprised it’s allowed to stay open.

From the street it looks like a little shop, which gives the wrong impression. Inside, the rooms have lovely, interesting decor, the staff are warm and helpful, and the food was fantastic.

The other tenants are okay and respect your privacy, but the weekly price is still far too high for what you get. The bathrooms were unclean, and there’s no cooking area, washing machine, soap, or toilet paper. I moved into a dirty room, too.

The whole building was filthy, and the customer service was very poor, really there was no service. The bed looked slept in, my room smelled of urine, and the showers, bathrooms, and toilets were disgusting. There was no toilet paper or soap, mould on the walls, and the hand-washing basin was filthy. This place should be reported and shut down.
