The reception staff were friendly, but that was about the best part of the stay. We’d booked from America and arrived to find no door person or porter, so we carried our own bags. The prepaid suite looked like a kitschy late-80s movie set, with parking garage views from both rooms, and it felt dark and gloomy. We could also hear a nearby nightclub. The hotel was very expensive and nowhere near worth it. We skipped breakfast because we expected it to disappoint, and walked through a sketchy neighborhood to a well-rated place instead. It was a lesson learned. I wouldn’t stay at this Adelaide Luxury Hotel again.

Staff were attentive and helpful throughout our six nights. We were upgraded, but the bedroom was upstairs while the sitting area and bathroom were below, so we asked to move to a standard king room where everything was on one level. That room was comfortable, and the restaurant gave us a great fine dining experience. The hotel’s central location also made it convenient to drive out to the Adelaide Hills, Barossa and McLaren Vale.

My parents had a lovely time in the North Terrace Junior Suite for their 50th wedding anniversary. They loved the beautiful rooms, huge bath and lounge area, and were treated so well by all the staff. Breakfast was a hit too. We’ve stayed here many times over the years and absolutely love it. It’s our hotel of choice in Adelaide every time. Thanks for making their stay so special!

The room was immaculate, comfortable and beautifully put together, with little touches that made it feel luxurious without being over the top. We were also surprised with a generous upgrade. From arrival on, the staff were warm, attentive and professional, and every interaction felt thoughtful. They made sure we were looked after while still giving us room to relax. We left feeling refreshed and valued, and are already planning to come back. Highly recommended, it was an unforgettable stay.
