The Tea Tree

We stayed overnight after being at a small wedding service in the Atrium room. During the ceremony, cleaners mopped as the bride entered, then cleaned by the sliding doors while the couple were saying their vows. We couldn't hear them, and my husband had to ask the cleaner to stop. Room service brought our food without cutlery. We called reception and the restaurant, got no answer, and left messages. I eventually went down to explain and ask for a refund. They insisted the cutlery was already in the room, even though we'd looked and found only spoons. We were made to feel foolish, waited 10 minutes for a resolution, and no one apologised. They offered to recharge the food, which raised food hygiene concerns for us. Ordering room service was meant to let us stay in the room. The location and rooms are lovely, but from the cleaners disrupting the wedding to the room service failure and unreachable reception, it was one problem after another. We would not recommend it.

The room was neat and tidy, and the food delivered to it was great. It's a very quiet and secure place, with lots of facilities nearby. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The cafe downstairs was a highlight, and I loved the live music at island paradise overlooking the park. Absolutely enjoyed the stay and will be back.

We had a large, clean queen room with a balcony and a comfortable bed. The shower pressure was great, and I liked having a free coffee machine in the foyer. The cafe served nice food and good wine, and the staff were friendly. I really enjoyed the location too. There was an Indian festival in the park behind the property, so it got a little noisy in the evening, but it wrapped up by 9pm.
