We were a bit unsure about Mission Beach as a holiday destination when we arrived, but left feeling refreshed and already wanting to come back to both the area and Sejala. Our hosts were friendly and there whenever we needed help, while still giving us space to enjoy ourselves. The cabin was spotless, tastefully decorated in soft whitewashed colours, and just 20m from the beach. There was plenty of room to unwind on the deck or the indoor day beds, and the queen bed had lovely crisp, high quality linen. We were welcomed with a huge bowl of tropical fruit, lots of coffee pods, gourmet yoghurt, cheese and biscuits, chilled Prosecco, and LOccitane toiletries. We had a wonderfully relaxing five nights and left Sejala today.

We loved the quiet swim in the tropical Sejala pool and the easy stroll into Mission Beach village. There are bicycles for everyone to use along the flat track just outside the hut, too. It felt like a really relaxed tropical escape, with everything thoughtfully provided. Janet and Colin were happy to help whenever we needed them. Grateful for such a memorable stay.

Janet welcomed us when we arrived and was gracious and friendly the whole time. The cottages have all the comforts of home and are tastefully done, set among tropical gardens right on the beach. Town is an easy 10 minute walk away. We’ll definitely come back.

The cottages are brilliant, with plenty of supplies and everything well equipped. We’re just wrapping up our 11th annual stay at Sejala, and it somehow gets better every time. This is our happy place, the perfect spot to relax and forget about the world. Just AWESOME.
