Please read the fine print if you want to use the benefits here. Reception staff could be more polite when explaining the $10 daily voucher for skipping housekeeping. The bathroom had a lot of mould and needed better upkeep. One elevator was out of order for all four days of our stay.

I usually stay at The Terrace hotel during Pageant week. It's outside the city centre bustle but still convenient, with parking and public transport close by, plus other places to eat if you want to go out. The rooms have been spacious and clean, with good bathroom space. The restaurant has a nice range of food at reasonable prices, and the service is good, with friendly staff. A good place to stay.

The main drawback was the shower over the bath. It wasn't practical for seniors, and getting in and out was difficult. There's a grab bar, and without it you couldn't manage, but there was no rubber bath mat. I'd suggest putting down a hand towel to help prevent slipping. Aside from that, the bedroom was comfortable and the room had a balcony. The small fridge iced up, so anything inside needed watching to keep it from freezing. The downstairs restaurant serves full breakfast during set hours, as well as lunch and dinner in the evening, and sells alcohol. Reception also has snacks, drinks and sandwiches for sale. The hotel was comfortable overall, just not practical where the bath was concerned. There's a motel next door and a larger hotel too if you want to upgrade.

I stayed two nights and thought it was great value. Both mornings I had the same breakfast from the $20 buffet, which was a fantastic deal. The front desk and restaurant staff were very pleasant, and everything else was perfect. Parking inside the gate costs $15 per night.
