Please read the fine print. My step-daughters had a lovely holiday booked, but one was hospitalized and may still need major surgery. They tried to cancel a week before, and were told there’d be no refund under the conditions. Their flights and second week of accommodation were refunded on compassionate grounds, but this booking wasn’t. Even after being told her sister was still in hospital and very ill, the response was that they hoped she could find a way to use the accommodation. They had to forfeit the money. After we pointed out no cleaning would be needed, though, they agreed to refund $200, which earned the extra star.

It’s spacious, clean and luxurious, with the beach close by and the pool even closer. A really nice place to stay. We’ll try to come back.
