Airlie Beach Hotel

Nuria at the desk was so friendly, and the location is great. But the renovation noise was awful. We moved rooms and both were very noisy, with drilling and hammering going on all day, from 8 to 4. I wish we’d been told. Our ocean-view room still had the banging, and the stay was non-refundable, so we couldn’t go elsewhere. At $284 a night, it was really disappointing. I wish I’d stayed somewhere else.

The location is good and there’s a nice bar attached, but that was pretty much the only appeal. The place felt dumpy, and the bathrooms were filthy. Our toilet had poop and mold in it, and the shower was vile. We paid the same price for the back half of the trip at the coral sea resort and had a much better experience.

We had a really enjoyable time in the Airlie Beach Hotel gaming room. The food was fresh and tasty, better than expected, and just right for a relaxed night out. Staff were welcoming, quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. A special mention to the lovely blonde lady working there, whose warm, helpful manner made the visit even nicer. Good vibes, good food, and great staff. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in Airlie. We’ll definitely be back.

The location is great, but the value for money just isn’t there. My friend stayed here recently, and we were disappointed by the dated interior and furnishings, which don’t feel up to standard for a hotel claiming to be upscale. The price feels premium, but the hotel bar is overpriced too. Eleven dollars for a schooner is a stretch, even around here. Anyone looking for a bougie stay or a modern atmosphere might want to look elsewhere.
