Mick was a wonderful host, with great service and useful insider tips for local activities. When my flight was cancelled and I needed to stay an extra night at short notice, he was reassuring and helpful. The guest house is beautiful, clean and comfortable, and it’s an easy walk down the hill to the main street and lagoon. I’d happily recommend Airlie Guest House for a comfortable, affordable, convenient and relaxing stay. I’ll look to stay here next time I’m in Airlie.

Mick is around if you want to ask about the area, and his local recommendations were spot on. The setting is fantastic, with stunning views and a beautifully presented, homely place to hang out and relax, only 5 minutes’ walk from the bustle of Airlie beach town. Mick and Megan have made something really special. We left their beautiful spot a couple of days ago and would definitely stay again if we’re in the area. Top Banana mate!! 😀

The garden was beautiful and peaceful, with a stunning sea view, and it was a lovely place to slow down and spot cockatoos. We really appreciated the fresh fruit platter and freshly baked banana muffins every morning. Mick and Megan were lovely hosts and made sure we were comfortable from check-in right through to leaving. The tranquil Airlie Guest House was spotlessly clean and felt like a real home away from home. Thanks to them and the team for making our stay in Airlie Beach so comfortable.

Feeding the cockatoos was a special highlight, and Mick was such a warm, helpful host with amazing insider tips. We had a fantastic 3-night stay at Airlie Guest House, in a perfect location. Highly recommended. Don’t miss a scenic flight over the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef!

I was travelling alone in Australia for the first time, and really appreciated the warm atmosphere Mick and his wife have created, along with their incredible hospitality. The property is beautifully designed and cared for in every detail. Its panoramic bay view was stunning, perfect for breakfast or dinner. They also offered excellent airport transfers and great tips for boat excursions. I spent 3 nights at this wonderful Guest House and absolutely recommend it if you’re visiting Airlie Beach. It made me feel at home, even far away from home!
