The marina view and location were amazing, with bars and cafes an easy walk away. The lady in management was respectful and cheerful. Still, for the money, the penthouse suite didn’t meet expectations. The main bedroom door had no lock, and its shower was completely open to anyone walking in, so there was no privacy. The air conditioners were set to a temperature range we couldn’t lower, leaving some rooms colder than others. The lounge air conditioner didn’t work at all, so it was too hot to enjoy the room during the day. In the main bedroom, the air conditioner leaked badly onto the floor, creating a slipping hazard; we had to keep changing towels and wiping it up. The plates and cutlery were dirty too, so we had to wash them before using them. For all the good views and location, I don’t think it was worth what I paid.

The place felt run down. The toaster was dirty with crumbs when we arrived, the master bedroom air conditioner was noisy all night, and the TV in there was useless with no channels to watch. The worst part was the WiFi, which was so bad it was almost nonexistent.

A lovely little resort, quiet because there aren’t many rooms, and adults only, so no children. Our room was beautifully presented, with a balcony spa bath and great harbour views. Staff members were polite and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

The owner responded quickly and gave brilliant customer service. After we’d had atrocious care elsewhere, she and this retreat saved our whole weekend. The location is perfect, central and welcoming. Our rooms were enormous, clean and had literally everything we could want, plus more. The penthouse was gorgeous, and we could’ve spent the whole weekend lounging in its spa. We’re so grateful to the owner.

We stayed in unit 4, which had a freshly renovated, modern bathroom, and we’d stay there again. The location is great, within walking distance of bars and cafes. There was a free pick-up from the airport that dropped us at the retreat, and after island hopping it was lovely to unwind in the balcony spa.
