Whitehaven Beachfront Holiday Units

Our flight was cancelled because of the weather, so we couldn't stay after all. The staff were very accommodating when we needed to change or cancel the booking, and we really appreciated that.

We were there for two nights with three kids under 12, and it worked well for us. The place is very clean, with a basic kitchen that has what you need and laundry facilities. Best location in Airlie Beach, and we'd book it again next time.

The room was comfortable enough and the location is good, though the place feels very dated. The bar next door isn't too bad, but there's no getting peace and quiet here.

That northerly beach-facing outlook is hard to beat. Each apartment has full-height glass along the back, with sliding doors opening to great views of Airlie Beach. There's a private outdoor spot on both the ground and first floors, with sun loungers and a barbecue table and chairs. The place is right in the heart of town, with off-street parking. Inside, it's basic but comfortable and can sleep seven if you're willing to squeeze in. The kitchen is small but very well stocked, there's a large washing machine, and the clean little bathroom has a separate toilet. Best shower pressure, too. I nearly kept this gem to myself.
