Six Degrees Motel

Great location, but the communication about food was poor. I arrived around 1:55 pm really hungry, ordered a Jack Daniels & Coke, and said I’d look at the menu. The waitress didn’t mention that the kitchen closed at 2 pm. A few minutes later, at 2:04, I tried to order food, only three minutes past closing and after I’d just bought a drink. The answer was a flat no, with no warning or flexibility. I left hungry. Disappointing service for such a popular spot.

We were patient and understood they were busy, but the meal took far longer than expected. We ordered at 12:36 and were told to expect a 45-minute wait. When I asked about the carbonara around 1:30, I was told it would be two more minutes, but it didn’t arrive until 1:41, by which point we weren’t hungry anymore. They’d forgotten it altogether. I also asked for a refund for my steak sandwich because the steak was very dry. This wasn’t the experience I expected.

The food and service were both really good, and the Shantymen show was great too. There were four of us at six degrees for dinner last night. We’d booked a table next door in the pub, but the waitress asked if we were there for the show and moved us next door. Lucky she did, as I don’t think there would have been a table later. The venue was excellent. Thanks for a great night.

The pub and restaurant had a nice vibe, and I came in for a meal. My hamburger was delicious, as were the fries, though unfortunately they arrived lukewarm for both me and my friend. They could have been amazing.
