The little local touches made our stay at Aldgate Creek Cottage feel special: breakfast came with fresh produce, homemade bread, fruit, coffee and a bottle of local bubbles. The gardens and house are beautifully cared for, and even in very hot weather the air conditioning and shady trees kept us comfortable. Terry and Fiona were warm, welcoming hosts who responded quickly. Shops, cafés, restaurants and the pub are an easy walk away, yet the cottage still feels tucked away and peaceful. My husband and I booked at the last minute and came away feeling refreshed. It’s one of the best places we’ve stayed, and we’re already thinking about a return. Thank you, Terry and Fiona.

A lovely cottage in beautiful Aldgate, with a creek running through the magnificent gardens. The owners provide fresh produce, and everything you need is there. Inside, it’s open plan for the lounge and dining area, with a loft bedroom and balcony, plus a bathroom with a spa bath. Shops are nearby, along with plenty of cafés and hotels. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A real hidden gem in the Adelaide hills. The hosts were amazing, and the quality, value and location were all excellent. It’s a beautiful house with a lovely garden, right in the heart of Aldgate. There’s everything you’d need for a couple’s getaway, or for a solo traveller wanting a bit of luxury and solitude.

The gardens and surroundings were so peaceful, and the cottage was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Terry gave us a warm welcome and was happy to offer guidance and recommendations. It really is central within Aldgate. Thank you for having us.

Terry was friendly and helpful throughout, and made us feel very welcome. We loved all the thoughtful extras, from the handy charging cables to the guides and games for cosy nights in. The property itself is beautiful, and our two-night stay was wonderfully relaxing. It also made a great base for exploring the Adelaide Hills and nearby wineries. We’d definitely like to come back.
