Alex Beach Cabins

We’d stayed at Alex Beach Cabin years ago and came back for two nights. It was still tidy and clean, and the beach is an easy walk away. Everything else felt close and accessible too. We had a great time and thought it was good value for holidaymakers. I’d recommend this tourist park.

The coastal walkway and surrounding parklands made for great walks, and the slightly heated pool was a nice place to cool off afterward. The park is central for exploring the Sunshine Coast, yet set back from the main roads so it stays peaceful. Caravan sites were easy to access, with shrubs separating most of them, and the central toilets were kept immaculate. Check-in was straightforward, with friendly staff who knew their stuff. There’s usually a coffee van near the entrance in the mornings, plus a pizza van on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 4:30pm. The seven nights for the price of six deal is handy. Great for a stopover or a longer break.

We liked it so much that we’ve already booked again for next Easter. It was our first visit, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our group found the caravan sites just right. The amenities were clean and tidy, and felt secure at night. We all enjoyed the pool and playground. The beach, cafes, restaurants, pub, surf club and convenience store are an easy walk away.

The cabin was clean, had everything we needed, and the bed was really comfortable. It’s a quiet place, close to everything, with a pond and park just outside that were lovely to walk around at night with all the lights on. Check-in was easy, and the receptionist greeted me with a smile and was helpful. The laundry was tidy, though bring dollar coins, or get change at reception since you can’t pay by card. There’s a coffee caravan out front in the car park, and the chai latte was hot and delicious. A pizza van comes by too, but I didn’t try it this time. I’d absolutely stay here again.
