Greet Hotel Alice Springs

The location was good and the staff were polite, but the rooms and amenities were poor. We stayed twice in one week. One room had a mouldy bathtub; in the other, the face washer had a large hole. Hairdryers are advertised in the rooms, but neither of ours had one. The first time, staff eventually found one. The second time, they couldn’t find one and suggested moving us after we’d already unpacked. There were teabags but no cutlery, just a couple of glass cups. Very average hotel.

The staff were friendly and professional, and when our heating quit, they had it fixed by the time we got back that evening. The rooms were clean and perfectly adequate. There’s a brightly lit pub with decent food and Aussie footy on the TVs all around the walls. A good modest motel right in town, and I’d definitely stay again.

The location made this a handy place to stay, with banks, restaurants, and other amenities all within walking distance. The pub and restaurant on site serve breakfast all day and lunch at reasonable prices, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were average, but the location and facilities made up for that. A solid choice in the area.

The rooms are a good size, and the customer service staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful. It’s right in the middle of town, near shops and a range of places to get a meal or a cold beer at the end of the day.
