Acacia Caravan Park

The owners are lovely and the staff were all friendly. Our 9m motorhome fitted comfortably on the generous site, with space beside it for the tow car. Everything was tidy and clean, including the toilets, where I liked having the radio on. There are bathmats for the showers, shade over the pool, plenty of bins, and the dump point has a handbasin for washing up. The office also sells drinks and snacks. Would happily recommend it.

We spent five nights on a powered site and loved our time at Acacia Caravan Park. Matt and Kaylene were so welcoming, and the park is kept to a really high standard. The fenced pet sites were well maintained and safe for dogs of any size. There’s plenty for families too, with a beautiful pool and a safely fenced children’s play area. The camp kitchen has a TV, games, toys, books and coffee machines, plus a pizza oven and barbecues. One barbecue is in a lovely grassy activity space with seating where you can relax and eat. The bathrooms were very clean, and it was nice to have fresh towelling bathmats. Great value for money. We’d recommend this park to everyone. Well done, Matt, Kaylene and your lovely staff. 👏👏

The heated pool was a welcome treat for the kids after long days driving, and the park was spotless, from the amenities block to the sites and shared areas. The washing machines and dryers use tap-and-go, which was handy on the road. Even little details like mints in the amenities showed how much care goes into guest comfort. We booked at the last minute while leaving campgrounds affected by fires during our three-week holiday. The team stayed calm and understanding, arranged an early check-in, and made a stressful situation much easier for our family. Staff were friendly and helpful with local information, events and ideas for exploring Ararat and the surrounding area. We also appreciated the reasonably priced ice creams. Rather than overcharging holidaymakers, the park supports local kids and raises money for the Good Friday Appeal, which meant a lot to us. It’s a welcoming, family-friendly place with a real community spirit. We’re glad we found Acacia Caravan Park, Ararat, and would happily stay again.

We stayed for five days in our caravan, with friends on the site beside us, and all had a good time. The park is small, but the service was great. We made use of the kitchen, cooked on the BBQ and made pizzas in the pizza oven.
