The cabin was quiet despite being close to the other cabins, and it was a nice place to stay overall. The shower had great pressure, and there were plenty of soft towels, shampoo and body wash. The pool was good too, though its ladder felt shaky and was cracking, so it needs replacing. We stayed overnight in a two-bedroom cabin. The beds were quite hard and uncomfortable, and the mattresses really need to be replaced. It’s a short drive from town, and I’d stay again once those mattresses are sorted.

We picked this place for its quick drive to Arradale Lunatic Asylum, where we were doing a paranormal investigation, and it’s also handy for J Ward. G'day Parks Ararat will be our first choice when we’re back next year. Parking right beside each cabin made unloading easy, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and checkout were simple. The park feels quiet and tucked away, though the nearby train track and highway mean you may hear or feel a train or truck rumbling past. Our Deluxe Studio Cabin seemed a little small at first, but we got comfortable in it. There was a couch, a small dining table, plenty of bench space, a double electric cooktop, fridge, microwave, and a kitchenette sink, which was much better than washing dishes in the bathroom sink. Town is only about a three-minute drive away.

I’ve stayed in three different cabins and liked them all, but Cabin 1 was my favourite. It’s near the road, though I’m not easily woken up. A great place to rest my head.

We’d flown in from Perth that morning and got there a little early. The staff were amazing and let us check in early without any fuss or extra cost. Our cabin was lovely and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Definitely recommend.

I’ve stayed here for work several times and highly recommend it. G'Day Parks, formerly Pyrenees Caravan Park, is just a minute out of town on the Pyrenees Highway, so the location is spot on. Sam is a friendly, helpful host who goes out of her way to assist.
