The Sebel Melbourne Moorabbin

We spent more than a month here with our family while our home was being renovated. The building is nice, but service was very minimal and poor on a weekly basis. The rent felt high for what was basically a basic place. There’s underground parking for one car per room, but tradespeople’s cars or other residents sometimes took our spot. Once we got back at 2 a.m. to find nowhere to park, so we had to leave the car outside and get up early to move it. On windy nights, serious problems with the window contractions caused terrible noise. Management changed during our stay but didn’t fix the issue. They only advised us to switch rooms, which we couldn’t accept.

The staff were excellent and very helpful, and even waited for me to arrive. The room itself was excellent too, but it had no condiments. It was extremely noisy on the highway side. The WiFi didn’t work, though I’m not sure whether that was my phone. I’d stay again, but would ask for a room away from the noise.

The location was Greta, right by the station, with Woolies only a short walk away. The apartment had everything we needed, all in great condition, and the reception staff were fantastic.

My husband and I spent our wedding night there. Sharleen made the night special by giving us a top-floor apartment and a few little gifts to congratulate us.
