After a long day on my feet, the spa bath and massage chair in my cabin were a real godsend. The cabins are gorgeous, with everything you need and a little extra, and the area outside is just as lovely. The staff were amazing, so welcoming, polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy too.

We hadn't planned to stay, but a last-minute booking turned out to be the best part of our weekend. We were greeted warmly and shown to a spotless, private cottage that felt really homey. Avoca is a lovely place to pause, reset and take in nature. I'll be back, and I highly recommend Avocado Cottages.

We were five for the weekend, and Deb & Pete made us feel so welcome with genuine country hospitality. The BBQ facilities were fantastic. Our cosy, spacious cottage had peaceful views from the balcony across the Avoca river, with the golf course beyond. Sitting by the warm camp fire as the sun went down was hard to beat. We'd love to spend a week there next time.

The cabin was sweet and had a lounge, dining area, kitchen, separate bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the spa bath. The massage chair was a bonus, and it was a very relaxing stay. Everything was clean and tidy, with milk in the fridge and tea and coffee to get us started. There was enough for at least three days, plus a pod machine. The detailed compendium covered everything, and the only sound in the morning was birdsong. The owners are a truly lovely couple, and we couldn't fault the place. We have family in the district, so we'll definitely return. The five cottages sit in a semi-circle on a quiet back street off the main road, yet each felt private. There's lawn outside, a deck with tables, chairs and a barbecue, plus a floodlight for sitting out at night. Next door are the bowls/golf club and a beautiful, immaculately kept 18-hole golf course. We walked the course each day using the bridge over the creek below.

Deb was friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back before too long.
