Balranald Motor Inn

On my drive back to Sydney from South Australia, I stopped here and got a great rest before the next stretch of driving. The room was excellent and very clean, with great air conditioning and a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was good too, with a nice hot shower. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

If a quiet night is what you need, the trucks passing all night can be pretty rough, unless you get a room farther back. But the service was outstanding. The young man who helped our family, whose name I’m sorry I didn’t catch, went above and beyond to meet our needs. Travelling with a child with special needs is challenging, and we really appreciated being offered a choice of rooms and the care he showed. He was also happy for me to use their personal freezer for a travel medication bag, so I didn’t have to rely on the minibar fridge. Thanks for being so welcoming and looking after us.

Rhys went out of his way to make sure my motorbike was parked securely, and Noah made me feel especially welcome. The crew here are great, with the best customer service. Thank you so much.

Room 1 was dark, smelled strongly of disinfectant and didn’t feel clean or finished. There was a huge gap in the ceiling above the toilet where rodents or snakes could enter the room unobstructed. The TV stopped working, and the shower flooded. Its floor was slippery and steep to stand on.
