Comfort Suites Clubarham Golf Resort

The grounds are spread out, so getting to the pool, BBQ, or clubhouse means a decent walk. Still, they took good care of our large group, and we'll be back next year. The rooms were comfortable, with good beds and everything we needed. There was also shelter from the heat for the cars and a shed for our cart. We didn't need service during our stay, which I suppose is a good thing.

The shuttle into town came in handy, especially for going to the pub for dinner. I enjoyed the stay and am keen to play the course again. The course was worth the drive, very well kept, with a gentle, wide-fairway front nine and a much tougher back nine. The bunkers are placed cleverly along the fairways and around the greens. Staff were welcoming, and the golf facilities were excellent, including the real grass driving range tees. The accommodation was comfortable, though the interiors could use some attention to bring them up to standard.

We camped at the caravan sites, some of the best in Aus. The grounds are amazing, and everyone is really friendly. Awesome place to stay.

We stayed four nights at powered ensuite site #1 on our first visit. The location was quiet, with pleasant surroundings and only a short drive into town. Check-in at the Pro Shop was easy, and the staff member was friendly. There was plenty of room on the site, with a clothes-line, and the ensuite was a good functional size. Towels and toiletries were provided, and we also had access to complimentary laundry facilities, which we hadn't expected. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Comfort Suites Clubarham Gold Club. We'd like to return.
