Argyle Terrace Motor Inn and Villa Units

The rooms were quiet, and it was useful to have a car park right out front. This is an older-style hotel with everything you need, not far from the wharf and within walking distance of the marina. The host was helpful with recommendations.

The rooms were big, clean, and very comfortable. Great location, right in the centre of Batemans Bay town. Customer service was excellent and very helpful.

We planned six nights and ended up extending to 10. We were three guests, two from Canberra and one from Melbourne. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating about the last-minute extension, and the owner/manager was approachable and very friendly. Housekeeping was efficient, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The waterfront views were wonderful. Shops, restaurants, and Coles and Woolworths were a 15-20 min walk away, and the local Soldiers Club (RSL) was 500m away. We’d stay again. Parking was onsite and off-street, though tight for my Toyota Hilux. My co-travellers with regular-sized sedans had no trouble. We didn’t use the pool or BBQ area. The building is older but very well maintained and cared for, which I see as a big positive. The AC was loud enough that one of our three guests used ear plugs, and eventually chose to turn it off before bed. The wall-mounted hairdryer was low powered and “pressured”, and could use maintenance or replacing, a minor discomfort. Wifi was slow, so we used mobile data to hotspot our laptops. It ultimately didn’t affect our stay.

Ross was a really nice, helpful guy, and the beach just across the road was so convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. I’d definitely come back. Thanks for an enjoyable stay, Ross.
