The complex is in a quiet part of Batemans Bay, with a boat ramp at the front and a private jetty to Clyde river at the back. At high tide it's handy for getting a kayak onto the river. Beaches aren't far, but you'll need to drive or ride there. There are plenty of nice bays and beaches to pick from, so the short trip is worth it. Shops, food and groceries are all an easy walk away. Our villa was a good size and comfortable, with air con upstairs and down, fans in all rooms, a well equipped kitchen and a full laundry with its own clothesline. The double lockup garage had a power roller door, useful for our trailer and outdoor gear. I'd definitely look up Blue Docks next time I'm in Batemans Bay.

This worked well for a family trip or a stay with close friends. The townhouses are usually two bedrooms over two or three storeys, with a small family friendly pool. Shopping is close by, including Coles, Woolies and Aldi. The place is cosy, though you can sometimes hear neighbours through the shared walls. Parking took a bit of effort because the garage space is narrow.
