I’ve often driven past Elm Tree Lodge as a local and wondered what it was like inside. It’s absolutely beautiful, and it made a perfect base for a weekend with a group of girlfriends. On a cold, wet weekend, the house was already warm when we arrived; we lit the fire that evening and watched the rain outside. There’s so much space, with one gorgeous room after another, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Everything about the house felt perfect. Thanks so much, James, for a wonderful weekend.

We’re here for three nights for a big family catch-up, and the accommodation is stunning and comfortable. It’s close to everything in the township and has lots of amenities.

My brother stayed here for his son’s wedding in Stanley. The entertainment area was great, though Telstra internet service at the accommodation was very poor.

The outdoor area at the good old pub was great. Friendly staff, and I was very happy overall.
