Terry was a wonderful host and had everything ready for our stay, including fresh milk, cereal, coffee pods and chocolate biscuits. The tastefully renovated house had comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms and all the amenities we needed. We ran into a booking problem, but Terry came to the rescue and let us book directly with him. A fantastic property. Highly recommend, and thanks, Terry.

Abbey View cottage is peaceful, and I’d happily stay again, for longer next time. It’s close to the art gallery, gold mine tours and other entertainment venues, and the decor is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The lane access was a little tricky the first time we parked, but easy after that. Internet was fast with no buffering, and the shower pressure was decent. Thanks, Terry, for a wonderful place to stay in Bendigo.

There’s a lovely deck at the back, alongside private parking, though getting in through the side lane can be a bit challenging. The cute cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a rear area that could be used as a third sleeping space or an office.

Everything we needed was there, and the cottage was spotless. The beds were fantastic and the shower lovely.

A sweet, beautifully clean and well maintained cottage, about a 25-minute walk from the station.
