A neat, tidy motel with a pool, clean comfortable rooms, and a helpful young lady manager. We stayed overnight before a function the next day, and it seemed like a reasonably priced place to stop for a few days, whether for business or pleasure.

I slept really well in the clean, contemporary queen room, and the road noise had died down by after nine at night. The room had been freshly painted and thoughtfully decorated with art, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the keyless entry was fab, like one at a high-end motel I stay at in gundagi. I noticed the motel's moody, contemporary take on a classic mid-century look when I drove into bendgio late in the evening. I had to circle back via the service road, and I'm glad I did. It looks like the transformation is well underway. We could also charge our EV overnight. Well done Calder Family Motel, I'll come back in summer and look forward to a swim.

The bed was super comfortable, and the room did the job for what we needed, which was sleep. My partner was a little disappointed that the bottled water and chocolate frogs shown in the motel pictures weren't there. He did find a takeaway container of fried rice in the microwave, though. Mmm.

I was here with my cat through the recent heatwave and fires, and Debs was such a compassionate, caring host. I can't praise her highly enough. Well done, Debs!

The bed was okay, but traffic on the road sounded like a racetrack, and the air con was noisy too. We only stayed one night and wouldn't return. The girl who let us in was friendly and nice.
