If I could give this no stars, I would. Reception staff were disorganised, and I had to wait before anyone came to help. Then I was told the floor had flooded. The carpet was wet and soggy throughout, and the door had been left open to dry it out. On top of that, the room smelled of smoke. They offered no discount, room change, or anything else, and were very rude. I won't stay again.

We had a lovely two-day stay. Maria and her partner had only been there a few days, but they couldn't do enough for us and made everything feel pleasant. They even cleaned the BBQ so we could cook dinner on our second night. The place was very nice and clean.

After driving up from Melbourne, we arrived late at night. The manager made after-hours check-in easy and even left us a friendly note written by hand. We had a great stay, and I'd gladly recommend the motel to a friend.

The price was great, and the room worked just right for our family. With two adults and two teenagers, we had enough space and didn't feel cramped. The beds were comfortable too.

The comfortable bed and good hot water were the bright spots. I picked this motel in Kangaroo Flat because it looked like good value for a night, and the rooms are large, but ours felt cold. The heater didn't work, and one side of the electric blanket was out, though there were spare blankets in the wardrobe. Our room was next to a childcare centre, so sleeping in wasn't an option. There were no power points at the desk either. If you're naturally warm and have trouble hearing, this place might suit you.
