Golden Square Gold Class Guest House, Bendigo

I’d definitely return after this business trip. The apartment had everything I wanted, with a dining table, a work desk and a spacious kitchen. It was a hot day, so I really appreciated arriving to a room where the aircon was already running. Everything was clean, and the lovely woman at check-in gave me such a warm welcome.

The apartments are spacious, nicely put together, clean and have everything you need. The Quest is a nice, affordable place to stay. Jess and Tracey at front reception were a delight to deal with and handled anything related to our stay quickly. I’d give The Quest 10 stars if I could.

The check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly. We stayed in a spacious, clean two-bedroom apartment with everything we needed for the concert. The downside was the heat: there’s aircon in the living area but none in the bedrooms, which made them incredibly hot and stuffy.

Stacey Mitu here. My parents and I had a 10-day stay in Room 18 at Quest Bendigo High Street, and we’d definitely stay again. The apartment suited our needs and the stay was pleasant. The cleaning staff worked extremely hard in very hot conditions, and we really appreciated their efforts. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues: the bed dipped in the middle, but staff fixed it once we told them. The shower was loose and sent water everywhere, though that was a small issue. No complaints from us. It’s hard to please everyone in a big motel, and some people’s expectations are too high. Thanks, Quest and your lovely staff, for a great stay. Please thank the girls who work tirelessly to keep the rooms up to their standard. This is a fair and honest review from Stacey Mitu and my parents.
