The hospitality made our stay at Blue Gum Cottage especially memorable. Denise and Peter went out of their way to make the three of us feel at home, which feels rare these days. I was there last Wednesday with my Mum Fay and my Sister Fiona, who were visiting from Ireland. The B&B was perfect for us, and I’d recommend it to anyone staying on the Central Coast. The garden is gorgeous, the room had everything we needed, and breakfast was cooked for us, so there was nothing to sort out except relaxing in the outdoor hot spa. It’s such a calm, peaceful place, and the couple who run it are some of the nicest people I’ve met in ages. They even offered me a lift home when my partner had left for work at 5am, then jump-started my car after I’d run the battery down. When I accidentally left a couple of things in their fridge, they drove over and put them in my post box. The room came with extra linens, towels, robes, slippers and a TV. The customer service was absolutely the best, and it was a beautiful stay. The price is about the same as an ordinary motel around here and the Gosford area, but this place is much better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
