I was driving from Melbourne and only needed somewhere to shower and rest for 1-2 hours. When I asked at reception about a short-stay rate, the gentleman kindly let me shower for free, gave me towels and soap, and even let me use an empty room. I was touched by his generosity, and left a tip for the bathroom cleaning as a simple courtesy. The rooms were very clean. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a clean, safe place to stay, and will tell friends driving to Sydney to stop here if they need a good rest.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with useful touches like comfy chairs and a sofa for watching TV. Staff were friendly and helpful too. It’s an unexpected gem, quiet but very convenient, with the beach, harbour and shops all an easy walk away. We’ll definitely be back.

We come back every year because this is such an amazing place to stay. Sue and John, the owners, are incredibly nice. The rooms are spotless and generously sized, and the area and parking feel safe.

Sue and John, who manage the place, are lovely and very helpful. They let me park my Harley under cover when the weather turned bad. It’s a nice, clean motel with a very comfy bed, close to food, drinks and the beach. I’d definitely stay here if you’re in town. Use the number below, and watch out for a US scam that overcharges for services. Enjoy your stay.
