Denise's fresh bread was such a treat with the bacon and eggs left for breakfast. The Villa was clean, and both the bed and couch were comfortable. I spent three lovely nights at Dee's Villa, watching glorious sunsets from the front verandah. The birdbath by the front door attracted blue wrens, rosellas, wattle birds, magpies, a New Holland honeyeater and a willy wagtail. They were lovely to watch and listen to. As I was leaving, I spotted a kangaroo by the gate. With the wood fire and green paddocks, I can imagine it would be lovely here in winter too.

The stone cottage was lovely, with beautiful furnishings, and the accommodation was clean. The scenery was gorgeous and so peaceful. Wonderful host, and I loved it. I can't wait to come back.

The cottage is cosy and super quiet, with amazing views, and the building itself is really cool. Denise was a great host and left us eggs from her chickens along with a loaf of sourdough she made. We loved the fantastic location and hope to come back for a winter retreat.

We had a lovely stay in the beautiful villa last week for our 49th anniversary. It sits in a scenic spot, with rolling hills, ocean views and sunsets, and we had visits from horses in the next paddock, two dogs and a couple of kangaroos. The cottage was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The new air-conditioning warmed the room while we got the fire going.

The host's small touches, like local eggs and home-cooked bread, were much appreciated. I’d recommend Dee's Villa for a city break, a romantic escape or a family holiday. It’s a cosy Mediterranean-style bungalow on a rise, with ocean views, pastures and animals all around. I stayed two nights with a friend in midwinter and we got a sunny day and a spectacular sunset from the porch. The combustion heater kept the space cosy, and afternoon sun through the windows made the villa feel especially serene.
