The bathroom in the accessible room was excellent, with grab rails by the toilet and in the roll-in shower, plus a fold-down shower bench. The basin height worked well and the mirror was low. Breakfast was lovely, and staff were friendly and professional. As a full-time wheelchair user, though, I couldn’t get onto the room’s verandah because of the step, or reach the sink, tea-making facilities and clothes hanger because they were too high. The pool also had a step down and no rails or hoist for a disabled swimmer. The foyer was accessible from the street, but after hours I had to call a staff member’s mobile late at night to have the front door opened. I booked in July for early December 2025 and was disappointed the ramp hadn’t been installed by the time I arrived. Still, I enjoyed this nice short stay, and the lovely shops and cafes were very accessible. I’d come back for a weekend or similar short visit.

Right in the middle of town, with everything an easy walk away, and the rooms are spacious, modern and have private balconies. There’s a good spread of continental breakfast included. A small buffet selection of cooked dishes would be a nice extra.

The room and breakfast area were both very clean, and shops are an easy walk away. Our room was mostly quiet, but we could hear loud guests and children running and jumping upstairs through the ceiling. Maybe families with kids could be put downstairs so the noise doesn’t carry through the floor.

The best of our four annual anniversary visits so far. The spacious twin room was quiet, and the ongoing renovations show how much care is going into the motel. We’ve always liked the included continental breakfast, and the new option to buy a full cooked breakfast is sublime. The location and room are both great, but Mike and Michael are the real highlight: professional, efficient, helpful, welcoming, and an absolute delight to stay with.
