Toowoomba Caravan Park

We stayed a second night and would recommend the park. Our powered site was reasonably priced and close to the kitchen, laundry and amenities, and the managers were very friendly and helpful. There’s a service station out front and takeaway food nearby. The nearest supermarket is about a 10-15 minute walk. No pool, unfortunately, but Toowoomba’s elevation seems to bring cooler weather and a pleasant breeze. There’s plenty to do in town.

A tidy, neat caravan park with older but clean amenities. It’s pet friendly, though there are a lot of permanent residents. The person at the front desk was really friendly. The pre check-in is handy, so you can get to your site or cabin faster. Good value at $40 a night on March 30, 2026.

The motel room was comfortable and clean, and the location worked perfectly for us, near food options, parks and shops. All the staff were amazing, especially Sarah in the office, who went above and beyond to fit my group in. We’ll definitely be back.

I’m extremely sick and in hospital with a disability, so my carer needed to stay at my home to look after my pets. He’d booked a cabin about a month ahead, paid a week’s deposit, and asked to cancel a few days before arrival and get a refund. He’s on a carer’s pension, and with the cost of living it’s hard enough to put food on the table. The new management refused the refund and wouldn’t even let him use the $675 plus roughly $350 he already had as credit. They’ve just taken the money. That feels like robbery. The caretakers even left when the new management took over, because they were disgusted by their incompetence and lack of professionalism. The place has gone downhill. I wouldn’t give it one star, and would choose zero if I could. It’s pure greed. After I called them robbers, they blacklisted my carer from the caravan park. That’s cruel, obnoxious and rude. I’m disgusted. Please stay somewhere else, like the jolly swagman, who are beautiful people.
