We were glad we picked this motel for our Toowoomba trip and would stay again for the convenience and price. The town centre is about 1.3 km away, an easy walk. We had pre-dinner drinks at a local hotel, then a great meal at Curry Resort Indian Restaurant, which I highly recommend. We felt completely safe walking back afterward. Booking online went smoothly, and check-in started with a very friendly welcome. The room isn't modern, but it was generally clean and comfortable for what we paid, and the bed gave us a great night's sleep. The shower area could use some attention: paint on the tiles was peeling, there was a little mould on the wall, and the fly screen had quite a lot of dust built up.

The staff were great and friendly, and the location was handy for our one-night stay. The rooms could use an update, and with them so close together, it can get noisy.

Room 4 was so clean and comfortable, and the shower left me lost for words. I stayed one night, and after arriving I went straight for a swim in the pool. It was awesome. I had a little boom box playing while I swam, and the staff didn't mind at all. Thanks, Amanda and staff, for making it such a great night. This is my go-to place in Toowoomba now, and I have one special request for next time: room 4 again.

We made a last-minute booking and found a lovely little inn in a really convenient location for what we needed. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable for our one night, and the receptionist was nice. There was some noise after dark from other guests and car engines, though that seemed to come from the car parks out the front of the units.

The staff made our three-night weekend stay at Applegum Inn especially pleasant. They were wonderful, with friendly help and excellent service throughout. We were very pleased with the accommodation in every respect.
