The restaurant dinner was excellent. We stayed three nights and had a stunning meal each evening, and the upstairs lounge and bar also offer a light lunch. There’s no need to leave the hotel: breakfast and coffee are included, the wine list is excellent, soft drinks and food in the minibar are complimentary, and alcohol is charged separately. Beautiful wineries are nearby if you want to visit. We had a room in the new Valley View suites extension, with a beautiful bathroom, comfortable king bed and lovely leather lounge suite. The covered verandah had two chairs where we could sit and take in the views. Arrival was a lovely experience. We were met and taken to reception, our car was parked for us, and staff brought our luggage to the rooms while Bethany checked us in with a glass of Crozer sparkling wine. Bethany looked after us so well, and Alex, our dinner waiter and sommelier, knew so much about the wines. Great place to unwind.

We went to a wedding celebration at Kingsford recently, and it made for such a beautiful occasion. The setting is stunning, and the food was full of flavour, nicely presented and great for sharing, with generous portions for the table. The atmosphere and service both felt thoughtfully done. I’d recommend it again and again for a special dinner or celebration. An unforgettable experience. ✨💛

Kingsford the Barossa is on a stunning property, and the location really impressed us. The service, unfortunately, was a letdown. It was quiet, but we still felt unwelcome and mostly ignored. Our wine was set on the table without being poured, and there wasn’t any real sense of hospitality. We felt more like uninvited guests than valued customers. Such a shame, given the potential of the setting.

Breakfast was especially delicious, and the staff were wonderful. They clearly love the place and the land, and they gave excellent service. The property itself is spectacular, with a lovely rustic, romantic sense of luxury. So glad we found this GEM. Can’t wait to return!

The gardens are peaceful, the farm views roll out around you, and there are lovely spots where you just stop and take it all in. I enjoyed having a go at kegel, swimming in the afternoon, then relaxing in the bar and restaurant with such attentive staff. Shannon made my dream stay happen. From booking through to goodbye, I felt truly looked after. She arranged everything I could have wanted and tailored all the details, nothing was ever a problem. Brendo was a brilliant guide, full of laughs and stories, and Abby greeted me each morning at the restaurant with a bright smile and bubbly energy. Thank you to every staff member for making it so memorable. I hope to come back someday!
