The team were genuinely kind and caring from start to finish, even though we arrived unexpectedly. The hotel was spotless and well maintained, and everything felt looked after. The staff were lovely, professional, and truly human. Thank you again for the hospitality and support. It meant a lot to us.

Michelle made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. She was friendly, genuinely thoughtful, and went out of her way to help with anything we needed. Staff like her really make a difference. Thank you so much, Michelle, you’re a real asset to the hotel.

The shower was the one letdown, since the water never got warm enough. Otherwise, I had a solid stay at Rydges Gold Coast Airport. The room was clean and well presented, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Despite being close to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet, with very little noise to disturb a good night’s sleep. Coolangatta is only minutes away, so it’s easy to get around without paying the higher rates in the centre of town. Comfortable and well located for a reasonable price.

There was a lot of visible dust hanging from the beach picture wall above the bed, though the rest of the room was generally clean. The bigger disappointment was paying a very high nightly rate with buffet breakfast included, only to have both the front desk and breakfast staff unaware of it on both mornings. They asked me to prove the extra at the front desk, despite the obvious price difference. With the administrative system so disconnected, I’ll think carefully before booking here again.
