After a long workday on the road, this was just what I needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with welcoming country hospitality, and the location is convenient when travelling through the outback. I had a wonderful stay at the Oasis Motor Inn in Blackall and would happily return.

The rooms are spotless, with obvious care in the details. Even the extra blankets were still in their original packaging, and our small pooch, within the size restrictions, couldn't tell other four-legged guests had been there. Matt and Camille have been a delight on every visit. We were first impressed when they calmly and professionally handled a difficult situation with another guest, while warmly welcoming us. They explained the pet rules, which apply to a small percentage of rooms, gently but firmly and respectfully. We later learned they were managers rather than owners, which surprised us given how much pride and dedication they show. As a business owner, I'd be proud to have managers working at this level. Truly 10/10. The onsite Woolshed Bar & Grill has relaxed but refined ambience and is spacious and comfortable. The food matches restaurants led by international chefs. We understand one chef may have Michelin two-star experience, and the consistent quality and presentation show that expertise. On a later stay, the Valentine’s Day menu and cocktails were sensational. Well done to everyone. Thanks especially to Tania (waitress & housekeeping), Kirsty (housekeeping), Federica (all-rounder), Ketut (exceptional lead chef) and Antonio (new Italian chef). This is easily one of the best hospitality experiences we've had in outback Queensland. Coming from the East, turn left at Barcaldine (Barky), then it's about 100k down the road. Highly recommended.

The housekeeping team, Tania, Kirsty and Federica, were phenomenal. Their attention to detail made the rooms spotless, fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Camille and Matt, the onsite managers, also deserve a special mention for their professionalism, dedication and genuine care. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and you can see how much pride they take in making each stay comfortable and seamless. We recently stayed at the Oasis Motor Inn in Blackall, and it was refreshing to find such a well-run place in regional Queensland. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Blackall. We also left a separate review for the onsite restaurant, The Woolshed Baa & Grill.

After a long drive, this was a great place to stop. The staff were friendly, the shops are very close, and the rooms were nice with extremely comfortable beds. The food was so yummy, too. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a find. The managing couple were delightful from the booking call right through checkout. Our room was spacious and well equipped, the beds were so comfortable, and they had thoughtful provisions for our cocker spaniel. It costs a little more because it's not a tiny donga or cabin in a park, but treat yourself.
