We spent three nights here for our commitment ceremony, using both cottages, the studio and the lodge. It felt like stepping into another world, even though the centre of Blackheath is only five minutes away. We loved the views, the walks and all the comfortable places to sit. Nigel and Tony were so helpful and did everything they could to make the celebration special. Highly recommended.

Our group booked the studio and both cottages, then gathered in the Lodge. It was ideal for a big family get-together, with a large lounge, three dining tables and a fully equipped commercial kitchen. We also walked out to see the beautiful view over the valley. So beautiful!

It might have been a great place in its heyday, but it's very run down and dirty now, and needs a lot of work to meet expectations. It's also very expensive for what you get. Don't stay here if you have mobility issues. There are lots of health and safety hazards, and I'm very surprised it's still open given the high likelihood of serious injury. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere nice.

The Lodge makes a great place to entertain, while the cottages give you somewhere cosy to return to. There are also some lovely short bushwalks with amazing views. Great facilities. I'd love to come back.

A perfect base in the Blue Mountains. I really enjoyed my time in the studio, and Tony and Nigel were fabulous hosts.
