The view and easygoing beach feel are what we're missing now that we're back at work. We stayed just a few days, and somehow came home feeling flat and miserable. That's why the one star: we'd like to put everyone else off so we can book it again! The place has an older building and a casual beach-style interior. The kitchen looks like it's from the 80s, I'd guess, but the appliances all worked fine and suited the relaxed feel. There's no dishwasher, though you still get a great view from the kitchen window while doing the dishes. The view is lovely from the lower rumpus room too, which became the kids' area while us adults had upstairs. Getting a long surfboard down the internal stairs to the lower balcony gate and beach takes a bit of Tetris. You can go around by road or drive, but crossing the road on foot feels like part of the beach vibe. It's not five-star luxury, just a laid-back, relaxing spot. Don't book it, we want our little escape to ourselves!
