Redrock Retreat

The fireplace was terrific, and the cabin was clean and tastefully decorated. We had a wonderful weekend at Redrock, enjoying the peaceful feel of the place. Our hosts were superb, and we’ll definitely be back.

A great setting among the countryside, with trees and valley views all around and privacy away from other people. The cabins are spacious and well designed. Perfect for a romantic getaway, and highly recommended.

Andrew and Leanne made this a perfect winter escape. The cabins are gorgeous and comfortable, set in stunning surroundings, and the hosts were wonderful. We had a very private spa in the bathroom with beautiful valley views and mountains in the distance. A continental breakfast, free wifi, Netflix and a seemingly endless supply of firewood were also provided.

Redrock Retreat suited our needs perfectly, and everything we needed was supplied. Our gluten intolerant friend in cabin 2 was very pleased to have a gluten free breakfast option. The cabins were comfortable, the reverse cycle airconditioning kept us warm, and the fire on our last night was spot on. On one morning walk we spotted a koala, then saw a kangaroo and wallaby the next morning. The roads nearby were good for walking, and the location worked well as a convenient base while we explored the wineries and the South Burnett region. It was easy to find using the instructions, and well placed for trips north to Goomeri and south to Kingaroy and Nanango. We’d strongly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay while exploring the region. Thank you for the hospitality, and keep up the good work. Sorry, we can’t suggest anything to improve.
