The atmosphere at The Terminus Hotel was warm and welcoming, and our 50 guests were impressed with the venue. We held my wife’s 60th birthday upstairs, and the food was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. Maddie made planning easy, answering all our questions promptly and professionally, from the booking through to sorting out food and drinks. On the night, the team was friendly, attentive, and organised. It’s conveniently located and good value. I’d strongly recommend it for a celebration.

They have a good range of local beers, including Newtowner, which is my current favourite beer of 2026. The pumpkin salad was generous and delicious. I also got the Monday steak and chips special for $20, and the steak was cooked just right, medium.

Food was great and the guests were really happy. We had an amazing party for my husband’s birthday, and Lauren and yuri made everything easy on the day. Maddie was a big help with the organising too. I’d definitely recommend the venue.

I loved the character of the Terminus Hotel Pyrmont. Its heritage building has been renovated in a modern way, giving it a stylish boutique feel without overdoing it. My room was bright, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, with a very comfortable bed. Despite being right in Pyrmont, it was quiet at night. Getting around was easy, with Darling Harbour, The Star, the light rail, and plenty of cafés and restaurants all a short walk away. Downstairs, the pub has a relaxed atmosphere, good food, a lovely beer garden, and helpful, friendly staff. Check-in was straightforward, and the hotel felt welcoming and well managed. It’s good value, and I’d happily stay again or recommend it as a comfortable, characterful base in Sydney.

Friendly, efficient service, and a lovely place to spend a relaxed afternoon over drinks and Sunday roast. The Yorkshire pudding was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the tune Nicoise salad was another great pick. Highly recommended.
