Albion Shamrock Hotel Motel

Stopped in for a cold beer while passing through. The building is magnificent, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and there's an outdoor beer garden too. A decent range of beers at reasonable prices. Cheers.

A big thanks to “Ma”, who made my time here wonderful. I loved staying at the Albion Hotel in Boulder, and the pub had such a welcoming feel. The food was delicious and the people were amazing. I'd definitely come back, both to stay and to eat.

The door at the front kept swinging back and forth with a loud bang whenever people came in. Really annoying. As for the mixed grill, the steak was tiny and overcooked, there was no lambs fry, and the tomato tasted soapy. The meatball was just meh.

After a long day, my husband needed a proper dinner. He ordered at the Albion Hotel at 6:30 pm, but at 8:30 pm the kitchen finally told him they'd lost the order. He'd asked several times and was repeatedly told to keep waiting. He'd already paid, and they just said they'd “forgotten.” The food isn't cheap, either. Two hours gone, and he still had nothing to eat. Completely unacceptable and such a frustrating disappointment. The Albion Hotel clearly couldn't cope with a busy night or look after its guests. If you have another choice, do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel.
