The room was clean, and there was a laundry area. I also liked that the gate closes at night for added security. Still, at the $160 I paid, I think my money would have been better spent somewhere else. The room looked tired, with drill holes in the bathroom ceiling and white touch-up paint on blue walls. It gave the place a seriously dodgy feel. If I'd known, I would have driven farther instead of stopping here. I'd give it more stars if it weren't so overpriced.

This place felt like a minimum-security jail, and once it got dark I worried local criminals could take anything portable because the gates don't lock. Honestly, you'd probably be more comfortable sleeping in your vehicle 20kms either side of town. It's a dump, with tired facilities and false advertising, or outright fraudulent claims, about a swimming pool that doesn't exist.

We stayed in the four-bedroom house. The beds were good and the air conditioners worked great. The only downside was that there's no pool anymore.

The dishes in the cupboard needed to be washed again. There was also a jug left in the fridge by the previous guest, about a quarter full. The room wasn't clean and smelled as if something had died in there.

The service was really good. I was worried about my truck because it had an exposed load, and they let me park right near my room. Everyone was friendly, happy to help, and security was good. The room I stayed in was a little dated and could use renovation, though it was clean and tidy. It looked like they'd already started renovating some of the other rooms.
